"Sincopados” has been in the works since 2013. The name “Sincopados” alludes to a musical figure where modifications that alter its course break into the main melody. The conceptual aspect of the work is related to the author's conviction that he considers that the time lived by man does not belong to what has been called duration, but to what is known as instantaneity, that is, in other words, the human being time is made up of instants. That is why the photographs present that aspect of discontinuity that inserts a single syncopated, interrupted, altered vision into the human gaze. An important thing about its production process is the achievement of obtaining all the formal phenomena on camera and in a single shot. It is therefore not about images added through an image editing software. "Sincopados" is closer to the images that arise in our memories and dreams, more typical of digitality, and far from the real world that has already been photographed in an analogue way.
